Post Production
Software
The main software we used in terms of editing was Adobe Premiere Pro. It was here that we edited our sequence. Adobe Premier Pro is Said to be really good for people new to editing due to being 'versatile'.
We spent a total of around 10 days editing our sequence. Below are two blog posts which explain this process:
first few days-

We used the app for the entire hour for the 10 days of editing. Initially, after sorting through the footage we placed our clips into bins, which we then followed by arranging them into chronological order. Adobe premiere pro made it extremely easy to organise are footage quickly and efficiently. We found it was simple to cut out mistakes by simple trimming/ cutting the clips.
Whilst editing on adobe premiere pro we started to learn the advanced yet simple tricks and techniques you could carry out, allowing our creative minds to blossom resulting in us making several changes to our original concept, like the introduction of slow-mo on all the closeups allowing them to appear far more stable, as well as creating a sense of anxiety and tension.
Our sequence was rather straightforward to edit this was both due to the software we were using and the clear idea we had in our heads.
We chose our non-diegetic non copyright soundtrack on youtube which we then could simply insert over our sequence and adapt accordingly. We inserted it in and cropped a tiny bit of the begging aloowing it to end when the actual track ended on the beat.
This use of editing software also allowed us to add the titles on, we were able to change the font, size and colour to fit the suspenseful mood and dark eerie atmosphere. This helped highlight the genre to the audience.
Hardware
Macbook Pro-
We performed all the editing on the mac. Which had adobe premiere pro downloaded on it.
By using this hardwrae we were exposed to a large scale clear view of our work making it not only easier to edit, but helpful to get a clear picture of what it will look like on a big screen, as it will need to be visible for a cinematic screen for the media awards

Online
In regards to music, we needed to get hold of a non-diegetic soundtrack for our sequence that was both uncopyrighted and fitted the right mood and atmosphere. We spent over an hour searching intensively to find a track. We started searching on Spotify, which was proven difficult. This resulted in us searching on youtube, we were fortunate to find a wide range of options that fitted our search similarly. Youtube proved to be successful at importing the music onto Adobe Premier pro sufficiently.
