Pre- Production
In regard to the technology, we used throughout pre-production. There was a wide range of Hardware, software and especially online that came into play. Online appeared to be vital as the majority of research and communication carried out was done so online and through the use of the Internet. Additionally, software was seen to be significantly convenient as a way of editing the things needed prior to our sequence along with certain software being a source for note-taking. Lastly, Hardware such as phones were essential, as without these lots of our work would not be visible and nowhere near as sufficient.

Hardware
With reference to hardware, I primarily used an I phone 12 pro max, as well as a macBook pro.

We used our phones primarily for online research and software however there were several occasions where we used different lenses to capture photos of things that may be useful at that moment in time.
For example, when researching into the bike we used the camera of the phone to take photos of the variety of bikes we liked in order to review as a group which would fit the scene the best:
Shown in the blog post about the organising and purchasing of our bike:

Moreover, we used an I phone pro max when carrying out our test shoot as well as our behind the scenes. Due to it being one of the newer apple phones it enables you to carry out a wider range of shots, angles etc. The camera carries out three lenses including telephoto, ultra-wide and wide lenses. The camera enables us to zoom in and get a wide of perspectives allowing us to get a clear idea of what are sequence may look like on the day.
Software
Throughout the completeness of the pre-production process, we used a variety of different software in the build-up to our sequence to help us carry it out to the best of our ability. This includes software such as:

Photobooth
I used the app photobooth on my mac as a way of recording our group's ideas during pre-production, an example being talking about a brief idea for the outline of our sequence
A blog post where we did so:

Pages
I used pages as a way of note taking throughout the planning process. An example being when having the teams call with Matt about the organisation and practical side to our sequence I used pages as a way of memory to what he had said, which later on I then uploaded to blogger.

I movie
I movie is a video editing software which is both free and extremely easy to use. We used I movie to edit our test shoot, which again provided us with a brief picture of what are sequence may appear like visually.
Word
Similarly to pages, I used word as a form of memory. This software is also extremely helpful due to it making sure your spelling mistakes are highlighted.
Online
I believe without 'Online' we would not have been able to complete our Opening Title sequence with the pure detail, and hacing the crime scene appear as realistic as it did. Below are the online programmes we used:

Pinterest is a social network platform which allows people to search for and view inspiration, and ideas around things they are working on or interested in. Therefore, we used Pinterest as a way of inspiration, Creating ideas for visuals and helping to create my mood board. Pinterest also came into play when thinking about set and costume design.

As defined on Wikipedia, Snapchat is an 'American multimedia instant messaging app', we used the app due to it being our age groups day to day form of communication. Snapchat ensures there is a quick and easy way to send 'snaps', in other words, messages and photos

We used Youtube to upload our sequence. It was uploaded onto the Hurtwood house youtube account. It was also seen to be really helpful in our process when researching. E.g- different opening sequences as a way of finding the examples and then embedding them into blogger, research into forensics, research into fake blood etc.

Amazon is a worldwide huge retailer which was proven to be really helpful to our group when it came to the purchasing of costumes and props.
I used it to get the next day's delivery of forensic suits and handcuffs.

The first thing we did once given are groups for this task was created. a group chat on WhatsApp. Extremely easy way of communication.

Asking permission to use Cornhill Manor- https://teagana1media.blogspot.com/2022/02/location-asking-permission.html

Our school emails were vital for the communication between ourselves and our cast; especially the teachers. It was here that we reached out to our cast and shared all information about the shoot day with them.
Examples of using email:
Casting potential police-

Casting response from woman- https://teagana1media.blogspot.com/2022/02/casting-response-from-woman.html

Teams appeared to be extremely useful when one of our teachers Matt was unable to attend a meeting with us to discuss our Idea so far. This app is similar to facetime, however, you can do 'more'. Hence it was used by most schools throughout the entirety of lockdown due to being able to carry out a number of skills. An example is screen sharing with a large number of people (on a free account sharing with 100 people).
Call with Matt-

Facetime which was created by apple is a form of video calling. We found we used this frequently as a group due to there only being 3 of us and being effortless and familiar.
